Golden Brew
Overview
The Company’s 100% owned Golden Brew project comprises 101 claims prospective for Carlin-style gold mineralization. The property is contiguous to a zone of gold bearing jasperoid which measures 760 m long and up to 60 m wide, hosted within thin bedded Cambrian-aged platey carbonates. Wherever sampled, the jasperoid is anomalous in all Carlin-type gold deposit pathfinder elements with Au up to 4 g/t. The zone is exposed on the western slope of the Toiyabe mountain range and is truncated on the west by a north-south trending range front fault. West of the Rangefront Fault, the property is pediment covered. The jasperoid occurrence itself is covered by five unpatented claims owned by Genesis Gold Corp. These claims were formerly leased to Highway 50 Gold Corp.
Subsequent to executing approximately 7,900 feet of drilling in 13 holes from 2011 to 2019, the Company came to the realization that the weak but persistent Carlin-type mineralization intersected in a cluster of four drill holes in the south-west quadrant of the drill hole pattern, were vectoring to the north-west. This is consistent with the recommendation of consultant, Jean Cline, PhD, geologist and petrographer, who completed a petrographic study of chips from five drill holes at the project.
To date, the strongest Carlin-type mineralization has been intersected in hole GBR-19-10 where a 30 m thick zone of strong decalcification assays up to 160 ppb Au and 470 m ppm As. Coincidentally, a pronounced gravity low / magnetic low is located approximately 600 m north-west of GBR-19-10. Currently this target is the highest priority. Geologically, this target appears to lie at the north-western edge of a carbonate horst block which has been defined by previous drilling and geophysical work. Regional magnetic and gravity surveys also suggest this area is underlain by the intersection of two deep seated crustal structures, specifically the southern flank of the Eastgate Trough and the Northern Nevada Rift West. These intersecting structures are defined by a coincident magnetic low and gravity low within a broader gravity high. This target is also very near the eastern limits of the Walker Lane structural zone. The claims are within land administered by the Bureau of Land Management, making it much easier to permit than the Forest Service lands to the east.
