Highway 50 Gold Appoints Paul Reynolds to Board of Directors
VANCOUVER, CANADA (January 4, 2021) – Highway 50 Gold Corp. (“Highway 50” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: HWY) is very pleased to announce that Paul Reynolds has been appointed to the Board of Directors. Mr. Reynolds will serve as an independent director of the Company, bringing over 33 years of experience specializing in the conception and management of mineral exploration ventures. Paul has worked on exploration mining projects in Canada, USA, Bolivia, Argentina and Guyana in addition to 26 years of experience managing public companies as both a director and/or an executive officer. Mr. Reynolds was formerly Chairman of Athlone Energy Ltd., which was sold to Daylight Energy Ltd. in September 2008. He is currently a director of Azincourt Energy Inc. (TSX-V), Cairo Resources Inc. (TSX-V), Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V) and Taiga Gold Corp. (CSE). Paul holds a B.Sc. degree in geology from the University of British Columbia (1987) and is a member of Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia since 1992.
The Company has granted Mr. Reynolds options to purchase an aggregate of 200,000 common shares at a price of $0.38 per share for a period of up to five years in accordance with the Company’s Stock Option Plan.
Mr. Bassam Moubarak resigned as a director of the Company on December 31, 2020. The Board of Directors thanks Bassam for his expertise and wishes him all the best.
